Stockport Accountants IN Accountancy are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Smith FCCA FMAAT as Associate Director starting September 2020
Please join us in welcoming Paul Smith to the IN Team. Paul joined Stockport accountants IN Accountancy as Associate Director on 14 September and brings with him extensive experience in accountancy practices, large and small.
Paul began his accountancy career in 1999 with a respected private practice in Gately where he completed his AAT qualification, before going on to complete his Certified Chartered Accountancy qualification within a specialist motor trade practice in Stockport.
During his 20 year (plus) career he has managed a wide range of clients in his portfolio, ranging from small sole traders to very large organisations. During his time in practice, Paul has also worked on a number of Audits, Business valuations and Due Diligence projects.
About his move to IN Accountancy, Paul says “I’m really looking forward to building on the success that the team at IN have achieved and sharing our expertise to support owner managed businesses in the Stockport area, and beyond”
His previous roles have also seen him prepare relevant and useful management information as well as preparing and reviewing short and medium term business plans and forecasts for new, or growing owner managed businesses. Paul is always interested to know the director’s goals for their company and how he can help them to achieve these.
Living in Disley, Paul has a young family and outside of work enjoys spending time with them and playing basketball in the local area.
