IN-troducing Georgia Walkden

Back in May we welcomed Georgia to the IN team as she joined as an admin assistant. After just two months she continued with the daily admin tasks from filing to posting out our clients correspondence but also took on a variety of marketing responsibilities. Georgia is now responsible for the content and layout of both our monthly newsletters and website, postings to our social media platforms and organising fundraising events, and brings a bundle of energy to the office (and more than a little excitement should the word Christmas be mentioned!!).

Since graduating with a degree in Fashion Communication and Promotion in 2015 Georgia has volunteered with a number of different charities. Her biggest adventure travelling to Tanzania in October 2015 for 10 weeks with sustainable development charity, Raleigh International. Since then she has set herself a goal to visit at least one new country a year. 2018 will see her spending two weeks travelling around Thailand.

To stay connected to the fashion world, in her spare time you can often find her producing content for her fashion and lifestyle blog. Fancy giving it a read? Click here to visit Setting the Style for everything from outfit inspiration to her latest travel updates.

Georgia has been with us for seven months now. Here’s what she has to say about working at IN: “When I first started I hoped that I would be able to get involved in the marketing. I was over the moon when the opportunity was offered to me. It’s a great area to work in but I do still enjoy my admin tasks. Having a degree in Fashion Communication I wasn’t sure what working for an accountancy firm would be like. I’m happy to say I really enjoy my varied job role. I enjoy everything from writing the newsletter to binding and sending out clients final accounts.”
