Paul brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the tax field, making him a valuable addition to our team. In his new role, Paul will leverage his extensive background to provide top-tier tax advisory services to our clients, supporting them in navigating complex tax issues and achieving their business objectives.
Paul joins us from ETC Tax, where he was instrumental in delivering expert, commercially-focused tax advice. His work involved ensuring efficient corporate structures, adapting to evolving tax environments, and guiding clients through successful business exits. Reflecting on his approach, Paul said, “Every one of our clients has an interesting story to tell. Hearing about these stories and helping clients achieve their goals is the best part of my job.”
Professional Background
Paul’s career in tax is distinguished by roles in both the public and private sectors. Before his time at ETC Tax, he served as the Tax Partner & Director of Advisory at WR Partners UK, and Head of Tax Compliance and International Tax at HURST, where he specialized in advising small and medium-sized businesses.
His experience also includes a significant tenure as Executive Director at Ernst & Young in Perth, Western Australia, focusing on expatriate tax and global mobility. Paul has also worked as a Senior Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, covering both the UK and Australia.
Beginning his career as a Fully Trained Inspector of Taxes with HM Revenue & Customs, Paul has since held corporate tax roles at KPMG UK and BASF. His broad expertise spans various industries and client needs, making him a versatile and highly skilled tax professional.
