Important Dates in the run up to Christmas
As we are getting ever closer to the Christmas break, we thought now would be a good time to remind you of some important dates and deadlines.
Christmas Hours
Firstly, looking internally, our offices will be closing for the festive period at 12.30 on Friday 22nd December, and remaining closed until Tuesday 2nd January 2018.
Friday Office Hours
Again, in relation to our office hours of business, we have made the decision to trial a change of hours on a Friday from our standard 9am-5pm to 8am-4pm. This will start from Friday 1st December 2017 and we will monitor whether there is any negative impact on our clients. Phone lines will be set to accept incoming calls from 8am on a Friday and to switch to voicemail after 4pm. If you have any queries in relation to this please feel free to contact me.
Payroll
Regarding Payroll: If we currently complete payroll for you and your company, please be sure to get your information in relation to hourly staff or amendments to us in plenty of time, and by Friday 15th December at the absolute latest.
Tax Returns
Regarding Tax Returns: if you still have not got your tax return information to us, please do so as soon as possible. Remember that if you would like your tax to be collected in your code next year, your return needs to be completed and submitted before the end of December. For any information received after the 30th November, we will be asking you to electronically authorise your return via our secure online portal rather than posting these out to you.
Christmas Post
And finally (for now!), please remember the last posting date for Christmas delivery is Wednesday 20th December. For other destinations outside of the UK, please see full list of dates attached.
