Jordan started out as a photographer at Venture Photography (Stockport), before purchasing the business from the owner at the time.
The company very much focused on the individual, and the beauty of each person’s own unique character, experiences, and passions.
Venture Photography prides itself on empathetic storytelling in the form of stunning images that create a lasting record of your most treasured moments.
Jordan came to IN Accountancy shortly after buying Venture Photography – he appointed us to look after bookkeeping, VAT and payroll as well as his year-end accounts and both personal and corporation tax returns.
As a natural creative and an incredible photographer, Jordan always saw ‘the bigger picture’, full of inspiration, ideas and artistic prowess – however, this often came at the expense of profitability and cashflow management.
As expected, Jordan wanted to focus on executing his creative vision rather than number-crunching financial figures.
By working with IN Accountancy, Jordan was able to have confidence that his business finances were in safe hands enabling him to invest all his time and energy into his passion.
Jordan came to view the ‘IN Team’ as part of this extended team – he was thankful that any queries were answered quickly and explained in a straightforward and friendly manner.
Jordan is also the expert behind the images you will see on our website – it’s amazing how he can put the most camera shy of individuals at ease!
Having experienced a tough period in 2020-21 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Jordan has recently sold his Venture Stockport franchise and branched out on his own exciting new creative venture, ‘Jordan Gurry Photography’.
He remains a happy client of IN Accountancy and is looking forward to his newfound freedom to express himself in his own unique way.
