Deadline for ‘paper’ Self Assessment Tax Returns

If you have previously submitted ‘paper’ self assessment tax returns for the 2016/17 return the deadline is 31 October 2017 and it is quickly approaching. Any returns which are submitted after this date must be done electronically or there will be a minimum penalty of £100. This penalty applies even if there is no tax to pay or if the tax is paid on time.

For those of you who do submit your returns electronically the deadline is 31 January 2018.
