Buy a commercial property tax efficiently

You can buy a commercial property tax efficiently with a pension scheme relevant for small businesses, known as a small self-administered scheme (SSAS), which are used to shelter assets from inheritance tax.

SASSs can have up to 12 scheme members which would typically be family members or long-term business partners.

Eliminate IHT

SSASs allow complex assets like commercial property to pass free of inheritance tax to scheme members via the pension fund.

You can use the pension as down payment on a commercial property mortgage and so have help to buy a commercial property in a very tax efficient way.
